ode to the whitegood

it’s so funny how doing loads of washing can be relaxing. you see, up until recently my partner and i had been without a machine as the flat we were living in had no laundry connections (it used to be an office) - so dodge. before that we’d been in share houses and just did our washing at the laundromat, where every week i would think i’d gained a bit ...

don’t waste my time!

eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr! the thing i really hate is when you get asked to do something and you do it and then someone else gets the job!!! i was asked to do some graphic design for this company (i didn’t go for the job, i didn’t apply for the job) - they asked me out of the blue. anyway, i did some designs for some tshirts and sent them off, the ...

‘OH MUM, HOW COULD YOU!’

well today has been a run around. first it was to the folkes for a coffee as we had to escape our lawns being mowed - we’ve been a bit skint of late so the lawns are the last thing we think of paying for, so now the jungle living is over . .. …. for now anyway!! so over to folkes and mum was there, dad was in ...

i’m still here chickens!

well, it’s been quite a month or so. i’ve been very busy getting my samples together for my little small business i’m starting in baby wear. i’ve found a stitcher to help with the applique and i’ve managed to get all my screens made and even printed my designs - wah! it’s so much more difficult with a little munchkin with you. my partner works nights, so is ...

sunrise to moonrise - i’m spent!

ari had a romantic idea of getting up this morning to watch the sunrise at wategos beach, he’s an artist and wanted to ‘capture the light’ - brilliant idea.  he also wanted to have a first sunrise with the wee boy clansee too.   i woke at 3am to feed clansee and then just couldn’t get back to sleep, so went through my birth with myself again ...

egomania

well it’s started - the little wee one has well and truly developed an ego.  he’s just 8 months and is in love with all food, but he’s going crazy and screaming whenever ari and i eat.  there’s been a few occasions at cafes that we’ve had to leave early as he would just lose it if we didn’t keep feeding him (i think he’s like a fish and will just eat ...

love to my nanna

i can’t believe clansee’s 8 months old tomorrow - crazy!!  i saw a 5 month old today and it’s amazing how quickly they develope and grow.  we’ve had a bit of a sad week as my nanna passed away, so i haven’t written a lot, will get back into the posts this week.  she was a lovely lady and had been very ill for a long time.  so this is just a ...

puzzles and problems

we’re getting all organised to start putting together our business.  our samples arived and our business cards are done - yay!  now we just have to get a couple of our problems sorted and hopefully by the end of february/march we’ll be able to launch, which is exciting.  i have a couple of recent photos of clansee i’ll be putting up today too. xx

swimmin’ and sleepin’

well, clansee is very happy in his own room.  ari had to get up at 530 this morning and was counting on the little man to be the alarm clock but he didn’t make a peep!  i listened in on him at 630 and he was content chattering to himself, can’t believe it, little tyke.  we also had an afternoon with a friend and another little baby just 1 month younger than ...

‘Give me myspace!’

after 6 months in our bed, we made the move last month to give clansee his own cot - which he sleeps in quite well once he gets to sleep ofcourse.  last night ari and i slept in the spare room to see how the wee one might sleep in his own room, and he slept quite well, still doing the 3am feed but ...
